Erm I know the general consensus is that the people on board brought the plane down before it could reach its target and were hero's or whatever, but can you really make a show about it? It's going to end up being super dramatic and stuff they made up. There were no survivors to tell what really happened, they can only go by the voice recordings and by what the people said in phonecalls to family members. All in all it should be a good, dramatic, and sad movie. I'm sure I'll cry at least once during it cause I'm lame like that :o

It's going to end up being some lame as melodramatic show, same with that movie about the cops in the rubble. There was something on the Discovery Channel a while ago about Flight 93 and one of the other flights. It was good, they didn't ham it up, they just re-created what they knew.
Bone Vulture, why do you always have to come into 9/11 threads posting though pictures in obvious mockery of what happened? I do admitt though people have gotten a little carried away with the whole thing, but you don't have to post those pictures just to be a dick about it.

Seriously. No one on these boards ever gives you shit about living in a former Axis-friendly nation, so why is it so funny to pick on Americans about their reaction to a tragedy?

I'm so fucking weird. I cried that night of September the 11th, 2001. Yet I find a lot of jokes about it to be really funny
I'm just weird like that, I think homophobia is lame, especially when looking down on people because of that (unless they are coming on to you or something). But I think one of the funniest words in the world is "faggot". Actually, I think it's pretty dumb when people call each other that in real life or call something they don't like "gay". But on the internet it's just funny as hell to me. But that's only really if it's in the joking context that it's so funny to me. If I'm playing CS:S and someone I don't know starts calling me "gay hacking cocksucker" and stuff because of my score or whatever, I'll still think it's funny, but it's also dumb because that guy is seriously using a word that already has the meaning of being attracted to the same gender, but they'll use it as if it meant "Thing I hate". It's just like someone not liking milk, going around calling someone "milk".
But anyways, if I'm playing a game with a bunch of OTF dudes, everyone just triest to be really sarcastic so it's funny. Like if you lose around, someone might say "Way to go faggot, you ruined the game for everyone", but it's funny because that person is kidding. Or if you get a headshot on someone they might say "Nice bot cocksucking faggot, hack more please." that's also funny, but more so because they are joking. The same goes with racial slurs.
Yes I know I am weird, I have a VERY broad sense of humor, in fact I am smiling 99% of the time I read the OTF and literally laugh out loud at most of the stuff. If you've played a game with me and heard me on the mic, you probably already know I laugh a lot.
Wow I just totally owned this thread with this irrelavant post.

I really don't know what I think about this. I'm quite afraid that it'll turn into some 'we need support for the war' patriotic bullshit. When they storm the cabin they'll scream 'these guys first, Saddam Hussein next!' or something.
If they do it tastefully I'll have no problem, but if they're just doing this to stir up emotions of patriotism, heroism, etc then there's no way in hell i'm going to watch it.

Haha yea, they'll probably take control of the plane after that land it, then get out and say, "Hurry everyone lets round up all them A-rabs before they can kill America." Then there will be attempts to trumpet up support for OIF, and then it'll prelude to invading North Korea.

I don't recall the British or the Spanish governments and news media cramming the memory of the attacks on their nations down the throats of their populace, and consistently invoking their memory for personal gain. Granted, I could be wrong, and maybe they do this all the time and I just haven't heard about it.

God Damn how I hate that. You have all those douchebags making
graduation speeches or something and they'd be like, "Blah Blah Blah,
9/11!!!! Blah blah" and everyone would be like, "FOMG THATS SOOOO
DEEP. How profound, bravo bravo (clap clap clap clap)."
Then there are those fire departments that get giant expensive FDNY
9/11 murals on their new rigs, and you just wanna ask them, "So how
many guys did you lose at the towers? oh yea, I forgot you were 8
hours away." I understand puttng something on the rigs, we use like $2
decals, not several hundred or thousand dollar murals that take money
away from something that might actually help the people your suppose
to protect. Oh thats a nice mural you have, too bad we could have put
the money towards a thermal camera to find little susy in that fire,
well forget that now, little susy is a burnt cinder but damn that
mural is pretty.

A better ending would be them loading the now landed plane with explosives and smashing into Baghdad
"TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE BITCHS!"
Yeah, those Iraqis will learn for sending those planes into the twin towers! And the Iranians! And the Chinese! And the North Koreans!

and you know its going to be that shitty overacting, in a failed attempt to make a profound and deep movie. All the actors will be so melodramitic in a despreate plea to be remembered for their awesome role in the super movie about how tragic 9/11 was, even though everyone involved is doing it for monetary gain.

What's the 9/11 card? If it's when people like Bush bring up 9/11 in a discussion about Iraq, then yes I, and a lot of people out there, are tired of it.

yea, I'm beginning to get really pissy when they use the 9/11 shield. That's basically what started this whole mess the US is in now. All of it.
To say it bluntly, they could've handled the situation a lot better
