Getting bored over the weekend and having a digital camera has resulted in this:

Anything I do wrong? Uniform/pose/accessories/etc?

(Note: My eyes look black because I removed the red eye and that's the smallest setting I could get without looking too big/weird looking)

Discuss.

I thought JT just made paintball masks, and not regular goggles.

Marty: I used the beaver tail attachment that came with the laser pointer, that broke, so I put a mag light in there and secured with the screws.

Ch33zy: Yus :(

t00bsoks: They don't, I took my old paintball mask, and cut off the padding (cheap I know) but I do want to get normal goggles.

Sure, why not? It's a lot cheaper and easier than a machined mount, and just as effective until it rains.

I have kneepads, elbow pads are far down on my list.

Helmet cover, don't want one, I want more tactical look.

Gloves, have them, was way too fucking how with that gear on (Summer's night with a roaring fire going 10 feet away. And you can actually see them in my BDU pant's pocket there)

I reattached the Flaslight to the barrel (saw it on a documentary, looks better, less strain on the RIS). I also did a double mag, attached my blue halogen light, and I'm going to cut off the top carrying handle, attach a beaver tail for Aimpoints (it's an airsoft gun).

He's going for the stereotypical counter-terrorist look. Just add a balacava to complete the look I suppose.

Swat - Not a bike helmet, weird goggles? Yes. It's not web gear, it's a tac vest.

Fubar - Eh, I suppose your right, but, I just feel too lazy to purchase one and then put it on D:!

Ch33zy - I do have the balaclava, but it was making me sweat on top of the vest, shirt, pants, and helmet.

I was doing it for recreation, and I was curious what all you military guys could point out that I did wrong. And stereotypical look? Of course. :)

Tac vests ARE web gear: if you can attach something to it (molle, alice etc.) it's web gear.

big roger on that SWAT man.

Just because it's a vest, it don't mean it aint web gear. I've got an LBV with a belt and extra pouches along the belt - it holds my water, my ammo, my rations, my utensils, and all my other crap, so it's still considered webbing.

Webbing is your PATROL ORDER gear.

Simple mistake, sorry Swat.
