I've always wanted to expand my collection to include some of the early, for lack of a better word, 'pre .38 special' revolvers. Weapons like smith & wesson and colt were making and marketing to police as well as civilians on small to medium frames. Guns chambered in .38 colt long/short or .38 s&w long/short, or .32 long/short, the larger 38s being found in 5 shot models quite often, the 'new police' and 'police positive' types of revolvers.
how much do you think this will go for. P.S. i always appreciate an auciton of used guns having MANY pictures

note, lots of these guns are from the 1920s and 30s, (although many were made earlier) and were around at the same time as .38 specials, it is just that the .38 specials hadn't totally eradicated the other 38s from the face of the earth yet.
