When will she(Cindy Sheehan) just shut the fuck up? Protesting the Blue Angels? I hope she doesn't ruin this, because I plan on going there to see an airshow, not a protest.

Blue Angels suck, anyway. I attended one of their lectures, and I about fell asleep.

Cindy Sheehan needs to GO AWAY. Some people are hippies, and some people are just out there. I was still pissed to see Martin Sheen go hang out with her.

The pilots go to schools and give lectures/recruiting attempts. They show this video with Top Gun-esque movie, except none of the guys are as cool as the Ice Man nor do they contain any high fiving.

fucking good, she canceled her appearence in order to go on a caravan to atlanta, although the VFP is still going to show up, at least the Brunswick Naval Air Station is being good and saying that anything having to do with the protest, including flyers and shit will be confiscated if they are found on the grounds of the Airbase.

They don't have to.....the performances themselves are powerful recruiting tools. Look at what happened with Navy recruiting when "Top Gun" debuted.

Which might be something in itself to protest.

Which? The method or the mere act of recruitment itself?

Why not both?

A better idea.....neither.

instead of being a naggy bitch to the military, why doesn't she just try to persuade people not to join the military.

whose "ooh-&-aah"performances have one purpose: to promote badly-lagging military recruitment to protest the obscene waste of American tax dollars to stage these Blue Angels' multi-million dollar extravaganzas

so... the blue angels are promoting badly lagging military recruitment... to protest the waste of cash that they use up to promote the badly lagging military recruitement... with their planes?

D: wtf!

This just eliminated all sympathy I had for her cause.

Agreed. I mean when it was "my son died, thus sux" stage it was kind of OK, so its an irate soccer mom, nothing really exeptional, but when she gets her foot in this mess, its time to put her to passture.

40,000 people are expected to attend the air show thus creating the opportunity to reach with many with our anti-war message.
...riot/hippie skull wamping in the making?

Well, if I didn't have to take hunter's safety course from 8am to 4pm today and tommorow, I would be there throwing rocks into the group and ripping up anti-war flyers, but unfortunately, I cannot attend :(

"to premote badly lagging military recruitment"? Gee I didn't know it's been lagging for 60 some years? ffs, I don't care about politics and I'm not with the whole war in Iraq thing, but go protest the war not a fucking jet demonstration team. Blue Angels should tie her to a stake at the exact point the one solo takes off with afterburners on.
