Why did you quit FA, and what made you come back?

Fustrated at the game/Wanted a differnt flavor is why i left.

But for some damned reason, FireArms got a hold of me agian. I honestly dont know how. FA is just the most addicting mod to me. Does anyone share me thoughts on this?

I never relly quit but when I did take a short break it was beacouse my comp sucked(laptop) and it got boring cuz I only wanted to play with people I knew(wtf?)

I loved FA, I have to admit, community was grear (sans the obvious people) and it ran smoothly on my modem (sometimes). Steam became a bitch and Firearms lagged again, so I uninstalled steam, but I miss playing. :mad:

I haven't necessarily quit because I still play a few rounds a week and jump in on matches when possible. Main reason I don't play too much anymore is because I wanted to explore some different games with better graphics. I played a lot of BF:V instead of FA and am now playing BF2 when I get time.

After the JSC is over I'll quit because the servers really really suck, which is a shame because FA was such a great mod :(

I know many will leave FA (myself included) after JSC because there's not much to do anymore. There is a serious shortage of players and decent servers.

I quit back in 2.6 because I didn't have enough machine to play due to ignorance, wet fingers, socks and no ring. (Silver jewelry acts as a solid ground, easier than wearing one of thoes anti-static straps.) I came back because I heard we were gonna get new stuff in 2.7, or was it in 2.8. I forget. I heard about the M14, not the M4. Now I hate FA because of the M4, because it wasn't balanced compared to the other assault rifles.

i've quit for months on end about 10 times since 2.6

FA got boring somewhat, and i also loved to play DoD back in the day. i miss the older versions of DoD :(

also, my computer has messed up a number of times, and i was too lazy to get it fixed quickly.

i started FA in the last week of 2.5 and from 2.6 to the present i have quit alot. so if you add up all of the time i have quit, it probably adds up to over 1 year or 2 years.

FA gets boring fast, because servers always play at the same maps, and the same weapons being used and stuff like that. but i still enjoy playing FA now.

I have to agree with Satan but I always seem to come back.

I took a few months off during 2.8 and 2.9 and played dod but FA is a drug and it pulls you back in :D

Used to play alot back in the days of 2.5 till 2.8 after that I was only on somewhat, after SoK incident in 2.9 That pretty much ended my fa career, oh yeah I got dialup and a shitty comp so why bother right?

i had a baby and i was starving for adult(?) conversation with a human and not ba ba ba bweeeee gup, ya know?

I'm currently bored as hell with it and awaiting WaW which should be out sometime next year. In the mean time, I'm playing css and sucking ass at it.

I quit because FA is and was no longer fun to me, it was more of an obligation. The only reason i come back is because friends ask me to play in there matches and need help i guess i'm not smart enough to tell them no.

lets see, i quit back in 2.7 cause i hated the community :p and i had to take care of some life issues before i could have free time. and then i came back in late 2.8 cause i missed fa, and cs got gay , then i quit again in late 2.9 like 2 weeks before 3.0 came out :( cause i moved and i have a wireless network now and it lags too much, and i need a new computer, but once i get a new computer and my own dsl line, i promise ill be back to fa or waw whatever there is
