Yea, cheers all FA players. Just wanted to tell I stopped playing FA a year ago, tho I have had the misfortune of installing it, playing it, getting pissed and uninstalling it, once in a while since. Was about time I told somebody I acually quit. I could have been run over by a car or something.

Greetings to everyone in the community, I don't like most of you, but some are ok. Mainly I wanna say hello to all the cool players from the 2.5 days with clans like IFMJ, PTJ, TSC still being active. Don't forget the many fun clans such as "TheEvilClan" and "TWKF". They saw the light before me and left in good time.

Cheers again to the whiskey boys, I really enjoyed playing with and against you in FA. Glad to see we moved on to BF2 and are having a blast.

S^D havnet been around as long as us - we never lost a war till 2.4 from 1.0, and have only lost 5-7 cw's in all that time - not only that but basically the top 10 euro players that are ever listed played for us at one time so. The fact that we tried to play S^D once and they had to cancel - the other fact that we played team USA which contained the majoirty of S^D players and beat them on reifs also shows we aint that bad :)

As for RDK - rofl - they got to cb #1 by playing tha majority of their clanwars ona shitty map and a shitty server - we have played them 3 times - lost 1 won 2 - sorry lost 1 and spanked the shit outta them both times to be more precise :D O and RDK were always know as being the tweakers of the euro FA scene - who can forget the infamous red helmet screenie :)

Also on that - the bottom 2 players in both rounds hadnt played FA in a loooooooong time when we played that war shows that we did ok.



AND.............BF2 isnt terrible - or it isnt if ur half decent at it and play with friends.

Eventhough FA is dead, it's still sad to see the "goodbye" threads, especially from a clan as old as yours. I know we have had our differences, but I have nothing but positive words for most of the whiskey members. Unfortunatly, some of the danish Whiskey players like Unarmed, Steel and Felix quit FA about the same time I started to play the game for real. Eventhough I did play a DkFa match and a few matches with eXtremus, it's really a shame it ended so soon.

Best of luck to you guys in BF2. Hope to see you on the WaW servers once the mod is rolling. You will always be welcome on the jolt servers.. And sorry Felix, but we will probably continue making pointless cups :)

We tried to play S^D as posted but they cancelled - and by the time aG had come out we had basically quit clanning so to play them would have been pointless and the fact that clanning had changed so much by that point too -ie camping ALL the time - we didnt want to come back. Comparing us with them is also pointless as they were around for such a short time and won their comps when there was absolutly no competition in FA at the time while we won our against the best in europe - ie DOD, IFMJ, HEF etc (although HEF were the only team to beat us twice - we did beat em a few times too however :) )

As for the mixed team - we hadnt played together as a team since late 2.7 early 2.8 so to play a CW in a rc only a few of us had played then I aint to worried about that.

On a general point - any clan can dominate if theres no one to play - we just did it the hard way ;)

Dex has a good one when we played them on Durandal and beat em then - pings were alot closer that day - when we played em first time my ping was well above 150 and theirs was well below, so swings and roundabouts tbh.

they disputed rdK for wesker because he wasn't on both site and league roster, and won the dispute (lol). Not that it mattered since rdK packed their packs after that match and wesker went on to join agg but i don't think he played more then few times. Yes, that was a league final of some league/cup

Semis, since that's DFAM and the finals were RsT vs aGg. aGg was hampered by the fact that they had to play 4 germans out of a lineup that had a sizeable amount of non-gemran players, while rdK as a gemran clan didn't have to consider this. Not that this wouldn't have been fair, since it was a league for gemran clans ...

And no we havent - I cant ever remember the clan quitting just several of our players when FA became a game for the less skilled and played to its death by the people who thought they were good cos there wasnt anyone else to play against.

I wasn't there for that.. but I was there to when we stomped you guys as //oR or something, so whenever I have to talk to players 100x better than I am much like myself... I like to pull out the 1 time I actually won against those people, so that I sound much better than my skill actually is. So that little tidbit is there for that fact. =p

Its good seeing you doc, I'm looking forward to this mod, although I can't say it will be the same without some of the people I've come to expect... namely a couple of those that are currently banned... lol.

Err long story short, I found a great inside source to get some movies and stuff, so I setup my own torrent service and I hosted trackers on it, so the RIAA took my internet away... so I'm at work. So for the moment no dice.

They couldn't sue me since a tracker doesn't contain the actual file but only the hash code for the file/s, but they convinced my ISP to begin watching me like a hawk, so I turned it off and I'm getting a new fiber optic internet soon I hope, but until then this forum and PM will probably be my only chatting source.

I see more personal "retirement threads" myself, most not dealing with an entire clan. As I recall, your clan has successfully posted a new thread about "quitting" on several occasions. But, like you said, lots of other clans do the same, I'm just making waves.
