Recording Question

I've got a technics SL-J2 record player hooked up to a Sony LBT-D690 stero system. It's right next to my computer, and i'd like to get some records onto my computer so i've got some good tunes to listen to (Don't wanna rebuy all the beatle albulms, or many many other records that i've got).

Is there anyway to make a direct-link with the computer from the LP in order to make a recording possible? Assuming i've got ~ 300 bucks to spend on the project.

see if your stereo has a line out connection and connect that with the line in (not the mic in!) of your soundcard and hit record in whatever program you want to use. (audicity is free, but I never really used it)
