In CS1.6 when I try to look around or anything my mouse just goes absolutely crazy. It makes the game completely impossible to play. I already checked out my sensitivity and it's at 5, which is normally what I play at. Also, I checked to see if any hair or anything would be obscuring the laser and there is nothing there. I have a Logitech MX310 and I don't think I have the drivers installed but it has always worked fine without them.

You still play 1.6? I can't go back to HL1 graphics, that being why I can't play FA for too long at a time. Having mostly default models doesn't help either.

Do you have a joystick connected? Mine does that in some games, and totally goes everywhere :(.

I haven't noticed any difference in gameplay between CS sauce and cs for hl1.

How?
Guns and recoil are different. You are more accurate when moving, more accurate when using full automatic, smg's are stronger, scout is stronger, awp is nerfed a bit. It's a much more beginner friendly / pub friendly game.

Well, as long as things are balanced, it isn't really a bad thing necessarily. I mean, CS was never the epitome of realism.

I hope you don't expect me to argue against that.

I was kidding...I've had enough stupid debates. I was drunk thursday night, like really drunk. You didn't drink alone, did you? That's the first step towards alcoholic you know:p

I would continue to ask amusing questions, but I think if I derail another thread, the temporary ban stick will be too close for comfort.

I decided to freshly install Steam on another hard drive and play CS through that and it worked. I would completely uninstall my other CS but I don't want to lose all my custom content!

Copy and paste dumbshit, if push comes to shove zip it up, upload it on something like rapidshare and download it. Just don't take the config folder with you, just the models and sound folder (and materials and scripts if you have CS: S, can't remember after reading through the thread which is is)
As for the CSS stuff-yea, the tmp, mac 10 and all the other 'ugly child' guns (tmp especially) are nasty little fuckers in source.
