Here are some raw PHOTOSHOP (PSD ffs) files (http://www.540design.com/misc/wawtemplates.zip) for community use. These are the templates used for logo and title creation in WAW.
Go nuts, have fun, play nice, don't eat the paste.

umm what exactly did you give this to use for? when i first saw it i figured it was like teh fa logo competition thing for the fa forums logo, but you have logos already.

He just released them for public? You know, you can do whatever you want with them I think. Make a sig, avatar, use it to decorate your fansite?

Simply for public consumption.
To me it makes more sense to give you guys access to some official templates to mess with, than making people remake some from scratch.
Plus then we can do things like have 'Official Desktop Design Competitions', 'Official Steam Skin Competitions' etc.
Of course you can do anything you want. We just let you use what we use as well.

Sweet, I can't wait to screw around with them a bit.

It might not be a bad idea for some people in this community to make fan art or promotional stuff either, like banners, etc.

I am planning on releasing AI files when I get them organized, I just had the PSD files more organized at the time of the early forums launch.

As for community created art like Desktops and Skins, I'm going to implement that in the site. If you provide the download, WaW will provide the link on the download page after we've gone live.
