yeah yeah, aim blows, wtc. But now all of a sudden, my away messages stopped working. I put one up, and noone can see it. I dont get the little notepad next to my name, and they dont see it autorespond. However, in my window, it DOES autorespond. Wtf?

AIM does suck, but I use it just because everyone else does. It's not so bad once you get all that spyware it installs off. But yeah, Trillian's a good choice too.

I never used AIM in months. :(

It's just so fucking boring, and the sounds annoy me.

It's a new security feature by AOL apparently. This also occurs if you try to sign on to your AIM account in multiple locations. It gives you the option the signoff those other locations by sending the number "1". But, apparently if you open AOL, it automatically signs you out of AIM.

Stuff like WeatherBug, and other shit that they ask you to install along with AIM. Spyware removers easily make quick work of them if you installed them.
