Yeah blah blah limewire sucks. Anyway, whenever i try to connect and dl something, it hangs at connectins. not limewire connecting its self, but where it connects to the user with that file. it just says "connecting" forever. I have no firewalls turn on, unless it's walled out at the router, which it shouldn't be, but limewire still has that little symbol that says "has detected a firewall". WTF is going on, i never installed the software for the router, so unless the firewall is hard wired in then i'm clueless.

Q: Why can't I establish a good connection immediately?

A: The longer you run LimeWire, the better its connection to the network becomes. Running the application for an extended period of time will generally result in a better user experience.

Hmm?

Might need a bit of port forwarding if that's not it.

Oh and limewire sux, use a better p2p program.

Does LimeWire have a UPnP option, if so turn it on. Make sure it's enable on your router settings.
