I keep getting this error message when I try to change the properties of some songs, is there a way I can fix this?

Looks like a disk error occured during a write operation whenever you try to change the properties of some songs.

rofl I have no idea.

-e- seriously though, maybe it's a administrative problem, do you have the priviliges in Windows to do that?

Check the Event Viewer for a more detailed explanation. (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > System log).

Also, it could be that you don't have write permission to the file somehow, whether it be because you're on a non-administrator user account and the file is registered to a different account and only has read priviledges for everyone, or because the file is locked or in use.

THAT's the word I was looking for: permission. I put privilege instead :kak: :kak: :kak: :kak:

Well it is downloaded off a p2p program so could that cause it to be bitchy, because this comp is mine and I own everything.

Make sure the P2P program isn't uploading the file and hasn't otherwise locked it.

personally, if this is a persistent error, I'd begin to doubt your hard drive. In particular, the partition/platter you have your music on might be going bad. possibly a good idea to take backups now in case the whole thing fails
