So I'm having some weird problem where my comp goes to a blank blue screen whenever I warp into a battle. Splitlip offered help in telling me about the event viewer and I found this in the system tab:

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
NPPTNT2

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Splitlip mentioned it could be malware if it's a .sys file, but I couldn't find any files with that name. I search the eve support but I couldn't find anything. So now I resort to you guys. Hope this helps out more so.

All I could find is that that file is created by nProtect Gameguard which is used by certain games to monitor processes and memory as a form of their cheat protection software.

You might want to remove the hacks first before playing :p :D

On a more serious note, maybe a reinstall of eve is in order?

Yeah, it seems very likely that the cheat protection software is wigging out and causing the game to crash. Possible causation for why the software is wigging out is entirely a stab in the dark for me, as I don't use any game that makes use of that anti-cheat software.

A reinstall of EVE is probably your best bet at this point.

I think lineage2 still uses gameguard

I don't think EVE uses gameguard, never saw that pop in the installation much less load up with EVE. However I did install Mu and Lineage at one point but I don't see how it's affecting it.
