To stem the tide of people telling you to get an AR-15 instead, I see you live in So Cal, as do I (south orange county), so I understand your plight.
For most anything you need to know, try this site: http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeonrw7/index.html
Videos of the SU-16c:

hey i live in north orange county! ill stalk you sometime, but anyways thats what model i was looking at, was the C model, ive always seen ads on the su-16's and they always seem like they would be fun. and they are relatively cheap, around 800 dollars. so i was just gonna get one for those fun trips out to the desert.

The price on Kel-Tec's website is the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price, and most retailers know that a $450 plinker will sell better than a $750 plinker. Go down to On Target off of Avery on the 5 Freeway, down in the mission-viejo area. It's where I bought my M1A, they sell SU-16s for $450
