Id have 2142 the full game if my computer could play DvD's unfortunately my comp will never be able to ever so i pretty much cant play any new games until i get a new comp.

I play both BF2 and the Spec Ops add-on time to time. The grappling gear in SO is fun, but I hate the way they nerfed the assault choppers.

I bought BF2 when it came out and I played like twice and never touched it again.

Rob_F played in my account with Special Forces, so now I can have all the Special Forces weapons without having the expansion. XD

I played it a couple of weeks ago but the lag was so bad I couldn't anything. I really got fed up with the 5 minute load times and the crashes and, apart from that last time, haven't played it since well before Xmas.

I still play. I recently got a crapload of awards because one of my buddies just started playing BF2 a few months ago and it's drawn me right back into the game. The cool thing is I finally got my Marksman medal, along with some other fun stuff like Expert Knife Combat.

BF2's going to take a little break though, I literally just got BF2142, it's just sitting on my desk in the packaging right now.

Hah, that's it? I remember when I took a 6 month hiatus from BF2 (However I was playing BF2142 at the time), came back, and dropped a score of 300 with my F2000 :D.

After playing 2142, bf2 just feels so bleh. The squad beacon alone makes 2142 about 20x better. Squad play is so much more important/needed that is actually happens, there is no j10/jets of dewm... Its just a much more fun experience all around.

I just played BF2142 for maybe 15 minutes right now, and I think I need to change my pants. Infantry-portable MGs that can actually lay down suppressive fire and get more accurate as you fire them? Hell yes! I also like how I can actually hit things now with every last weapon available, none of the arbitrary "Oh look your target is more than 30 meters out. Assault rifle? Bitch, please, you can't hit anything at this range. Leave that up to the snipers" crap that BF2 has after the recent run of patches.

Personally, I really enjoyed the game around 1.2-1.3 when the MGs were more lethal than they are now, although the current 1.41 patch makes snipers a force to be reckoned with and that's equally fun. I guess I just have problems with the way in which they did that, which is make everyone else useless at ranges that used to be well within accurate fire range.

Well its not that they're useless in bf2 it just that you just have to "Do a Barrel Roll" and the missile misses. Why do you think i they call it a MISSile.

I know, I know, it's just that I'm getting nostalgic for the days when the G36C could own at all ranges. Currently, the G36E fulfills all my long-range shooting needs when not sniping. That, and the PKM.

Well I just tried playing BF2 again and it crashed on me. I think my video cards dying (again), it kept skipping (along with the sound), finally the screen blanked out to black and I got dropped to the desktop.
