"Shut up and die"? One more flame like that and you will recieve a 2 day vacation from the forums. Thanks.

Are you guys serious? Why do I get a warning like I always do this shit to the fellow OTFers?

Uh, elaborate?
-e- I see. Good question indeed. Perhaps Fak got pissed and decided to report the post.

Basically it's like this. That thread links to the thread where I got my warning basically. It was stating how the only problem with Rob's forum is that Rob, himself, is there. Enforcer and I tell FaKTor to give it a rest (a.k.a to stfu), because frankly we like Rob. He's a cool guy to us; however FaKTor calls us his "ball washers" because we told him to stop complaining about Rob already (Honestly, the shit's old). So I reply back to him saying how that's retarded to call me that because it was someone he didn't like, then I told him to stfu and die.
Now I can just take my warnings and go on with life. But what bothers me is how it looks like I've been warned multiple times already. I've been warned ONCE (Way back in December)and that was before these rules were in effect.

In that case then, I fail to see why you felt the need to report the post. In normal cases I would just tell you to deal with it and roll with the punches, though I suspect that you wouldn't exactly take that advice.

Also, perhaps this (http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/crybaby.htm) is appropriate for the occasion, though that's just my opinion.
-e- I take this back, since you apparently didn't report the post.

rofl, I didn't report the post. I haven't reported a post since a guy linked to cheats on the fa forums, or maybe it was some guy spamming racist shit on the waw forums. Either way I didn't report this, I just think it's funny.

Even though that is FaKTor personality, especially in the FireBox, I don't think he reported it. Thanks for backing me up though Kelvin :D.

It'd be nice if that were a bit clearer though. We can say a lot of stuff in jest (I'm pretty sure Onyx didn't really wish Fak to actually die), and there hasn't exactly been a precedent about that that I can recall.

I still don't feel that it's something worthy of notching up towards a temp ban. We all lose our tempers sometimes and say things that we regret later, which IMO is usually enough. Worth a PM and a warning yes, but not worth a precursor to a temp ban.

Then all he should say is sorry, and the infraction would be reversed. *shrug*.
The issue is, is that he doesn't seem to see a problem with what he said.

No, I think you are missing the point.
I didn't say you were close, I said one more flame like that and you will get 2 days. It is very simple, don't tell people to stfu and die, and you will be fine. Is this something you are worried you might say again?

There's too much of a gray line though when it comes to "flames like that" That could be just saying someone to stfu, or telling the shut up. If you said that before I would of understood you. But yeah that is a seriously lame, even though the rules are "clearly defined" now, the mods still seem to have their own definitions of what's warn-worthy and what isn't.

We can warn about anything we like, thats our prerogative, it's only bans that we insist be clearly defined.
There is no need to lose sleep over infractions guys, just pay attention to what is said in them and there's no issue. Bans are discussed *sometimes* before being issued.

Again, we don't catch everything all the time. Unfortunately we can't read every single thread in the forums, and sometimes we do miss things. This is why we have a post reporting button. Also, sometimes people get warned for saying things and no one else ever knows about it, so just because you didn't see a public reprimand doesn mean nothing was done.

God I love you Wheat, you'd get more +rep but it wasn't long ago I gave you some.
To solve that problem, why not simply realign the rep system to show who repped you, regardless of positive or negative, and then we don't have to sign either. I look at rep as basically a "That was nice" or "That was bad" pm, which SHOULD have who sent it behind it. :\

This is kind of old, but w/e. I don't see what is wrong with the post you quoted. It states exactly what is going on in the thread, clear as day.
Honestly, you complain about everything posted if it isin't correct in your opinion.
The only problem with this claim is that all the posts I find to be "incorrect" and do not "complain" about would never be noticed because if I don't post a response there is nothing to notice. So your claim here is rather a strange and selective slight against myself unless you are privy to the knowledge of all the posts I find to be incorrect and my corresponding course of action, which I honestly doubt that you are.

Yes, the rules aren't cool. Yes, they should be changed so the OTF is a semi-funny place, instead of a place where i come to because it fills the void at my job - no more, no less. No, this will probably not happen, and i'll be sad because of it.
