I like it, the new heavy weapon sounds and looks nice and beefy
Secondary needs a beef in damage though :(

Those were all beta releases or whatever, this is like the big official "full" release. Aka something that might end up being steam supported like say DoD or GarysMod.

So like two months later I finally got around to playing it and god damn has this improved alot from when I last played it. Cyber/Decking is alot better, the guns seem abit more balanced and these new guns rock (the tesla is just awesome).
My only real gripe is that they nerfed the hell out of spider nades... Afew other weapons got some tweaks but the spider nades are now a thing you have to drop from around a corner because if you are getting shot at by anything with an aoe effect to it or that sprays loads of ammo it will most likely blow up in your face and fuck you.
The rocket got nerf'd pretty hard I'd say it has about 3/4 the damage it did before but it has abit shorter reload. Oh and the backup pistol got its accuracy nerfed to hell its really spray and pray ish.
They also added some more implants like a faster weapon swap/reaload, a cold suit (counter to thermal vision) but sadly you can't take both the coldsuit and stealth.
It still has some of the inherent source issues like melee range due to lag, its like you are swinging a 12ft sword, of have a 20ft arm.
Over all its damn good and I'm pretty sad at the lack of populated servers considering how good it is :(

I've been playing it for about a month now. The only thing I don't like about the game is that some of the weapons for the lights are slightly overpowered. Those stupid ass pistols rip through everything, and because lights are so fast, once you realise what is happening, you can't find the bastards.
I'm usually playing as a heavy, since I don't like decking in the game. Plus I like punching people's heads off.

There are about 5 servers that ever have more than 15 people in them at any time. One of them, the one with PPP at the front, also plays some of the surfing and racecar maps.

I'll check this out. I remember picking this up in the beta and thinking that it wasn't too bad. Just needed more maps.

Just needed more maps.
I think theres about 7-8 normal maps out there right now all of which have had a graphics update/afew changes.
Vaccine is the good ol' faithful one which is pretty much the exact same with only some minor changes near the powercore.
Infect is probably my favorite map, its sorta like vaccine but presents alot of paths of travel and has alot more importance placed on decking, its been changed abit since the last version I remember but its still good.
Fusion is pretty cool mainly since its almost never a stalemate, even with super good defence people can usually atleast get the first and possibly second objective down with the last have a nasty stalepoint. Over all though its a pretty cool map.
Fortress has had ALOT of changes since I last remember it but its still the same basic thing, it puts alot of emphasis on decking and most meatspace stuff is "clear room blow up objective".
The other maps all sorta get bogged down to much, and just give to much to the defensive team. The game is loads of fun aslong as the offence can move up and push back even if it takes time. Though an almost full round stuck at one choke point can be really friggin lame. Though that mainly comes from pug team unbalance.
There are also two other types of maps. pb_ maps or phistball maps are basicly soccer where you can only use melee weapons and that sort of thing. Its neat once or twice but its rarely played unless alot of people decide to votemap it. I think theres 4 or so pb maps.
They also have some vehc test maps more or less these were things done by the devs to test out vehcs for dystopia so theres not alot to them but still sorta neat I guess.
