Test Drive Unlimited is an arcade-style racing game that features over 125 licensed sports cars and motorcycles and a terrain modelled after the Hawaiian island of Oahu that features some 1000 miles of roads and highways.[1] Test Drive Unlimited is the latest installment of Test Drive, one of the longest running racing game franchises ever.

Read the reviews for the X-box 360 or Playstation 2 version of it, one of them is out already on the consoles and it didn't get the most stellar reviews or atleast their gripes about the game would be some of the problems that would really drive me nuts.

I'm not a big fan of games where you have to buy/download additional content from a server (even as a free service). Just release the damn game with all the material at once, even if you have to charge a few more bucks at the time of game purchase. This whole market thing is a disturbing trend IMHO. /rant

I'd buy one of these if I had the wheel and peddals otherwise why bother? its like using Microsoft Flight Sim without a joy stick.

I have no interest in driving, but I'd love a simulated island. otoh I'm not going to buy another highspec PC just to have Hawaii on a monitor 24/7.

I just installed it. Pretty fun thus far. Wish the graphics had a bit more meat to them, but it's not bad. Thinking of using my roommates xbox 360 controller on it.

The ports of Test Drive Unlimited for Playstation 2 and Playstation Portable lack many of the features found in the PC and Xbox 360 versions:[2]

-No Manual transmission
-No Maseratis
-No Ferraris
-No Motorcycles
-Only 67 cars, rather than over 125
-No avatar selection
-No avatar customization (clothes shopping)
-No model transportation missions
-No authentic Hawaiian Airlines
