Cybersphere. A damned good game full of vibrant life. Me and g00 play it; and the rest of you are straight buster nublets. Graphics? Fuck those. Yeah, it's text-based and old school; but that only adds to the liberty. You wanna run around with a lvl 70 blowing shit up and using words like "lolz0rz mages r teh cheep" then no, this game is probably not for you. But if you've seen Collateral, Pulp Fiction, Hackers, Road Warrior, Blade Runner, or A Clockwork Orange and said "Whoa. I wish I could do that." - then this might be what you're looking for. If you've read Neuromancer, Count Zero, Snow Crash, Mona Lisa Overdrive, or any other 'cyberpunk' literature, this is right up your alley.

I've posted a series of links leading to logs, advice, the game website, and even a forum. Even a couple reviews, to give you guys a better handle on it.

It really is a great game: so give it a shot. Dole out the harshness.

If it makes you feel any better when my midterms are done I'll try it out and get some friends to look into it too.

I tried to create a character like last year and they said my bio wasn't good enough, so fuck those nerds.

Also my memory is really bad so I would get lost anyways. I'm talking so bad that I washed my hair today, then as soon as I opened my eyes after washing all the shampoo out I went "shit, did I wash my hair or not"

That said, I still REALLY want to try it, so I'll try making a character again when I get home from work (if I remember).

Hey, I remember this game! I used to play it something like 4-5 years ago when all I had access to was a shit computer on 56K, and ZMud was my most accessed program. My primary character was a Yakuza-affiliated elven street samurai who was an experiment to see how far I could push the game in terms of speed over power. I think I got him to the second level/tier/whatever of Wired Reflexes before I stopped playing.

Well...there are no elves...at least, not since I started playing (on the ass end of 5 years ago); and wired reflexes are pretty much just a quick exchange of currency, nowadays.

Fuck. I remembered wrong then, I was thinking this was a Shadowrun MUD I used to play.
