Anyone else play?

www.cybernations.net

Its a free web based nation simulation game. You can choose different political stances, different forms of government and religion, set taxes, do military stuff etc etc etc. The most important aspect is the alliances. Without an alliance you will be pummelled into the ground.

I am part of the Federation of Armed Nations alliance. It is a group of people from mostly gunboards like ARFCOM and glocktalk etc. We are one of the best alliances in the game.

Right now, there is a massive war going on. Its really fun to attack other countries :D.

This game usually takes about 2mins of your day, but you can be involved more and spend more time. Its a fun short time

its much better

much MUCH better

I got bored of nationstates really quickly. In CN, inter nation diplomacy plays a large part. Alliances are crucial and inter alliance politics gives a much deeper aspect to the game. If your nation/alliance is a dick, you get fucking OWNED

For military, you get soldiers, tanks, 9 types of fighter, 9 types of bomber, cruise missiles, nukes. I have slaughtered a bunch of nations already, all were being dicks to nations of my alliance :D.

You MUST interact with other nations, even if you arent in an alliance. Every nation gets "resources" and you need to set up trade deals with other nations, so you get other resources, which benefits your country.

Theres too much to type about it. Its awesome and it doesnt take up all your time. Theres a massive giant fucking war right now, which my alliance is involved in. We are winning because we are pure seks

That interaction part sucks. It means I have to at some point be co-operative and to get anywhere put real thought into the game, that's no fun.

Nah

Just sign up to a big alliance, which is easy

Then find trade partners, who have what you want. You just send them a trade message and they accept or decline, you dont have to talk to them.

OK

Pretty much every alliance worth a damn is involved in the war now. It would be about 10k people per side. Biggest damn war ever. A few random nukes have been launched.

Im taking on 3 nations and winning :D
