I hate you. but anyways, you should be able to... albeit poorly. Honestly I think the only reason they give such high specs is because of their insane dynamic lighting requirements; which are impossible to attain at the moment.

apparently if you turn off dynamic lighting it reverts to DX8, like all the Dx9 features turn off just from that one option. Kinda crazy, people are hoping it fixes in a patch

no there not, im playing everything on max perfictly, the only problems i had was with my Gforce 8800, and that was fixed by disabling and enabiling my 7900 GT, AMD Dual Core Processer clocked at 2.40Ghz all ready said my grphx card, 2gigs of ram

Yeah, I'm running a 7950GT, 2 gigs, and a 945 Pentium D, and the only time I ever see a hickup is when it starts lightening in the game and the five billion shadows cause my game to drop 5 frames.

Lol, I checked the requirement for C&C 3 and I failed the recommended because I don't have Vista.

my 3D Card fails due to the direct 9 issue, but you can turn all the settings to DX8 so i read, so i should be fine.

What's with the 10 GB free space requirement? I had to uninstall a whole bunch of crap to meet that expecting the game would take up the whole ten gigs, and there's plenty of leftover space I'm not seeing being used even after having played the game for the last couple of days.

Heh, I can't even run HL2 according to the site, and seeing as I've tried it and it doesn't work. :(

Heh, you tried that too? I got a good chuckle out of the idea of Vista actually working. Don't hate me.

Could be the savegames, if it follows the same system that MII:TW does. Which 'reserves' tons of harddrive space for saves, without actually using it.
