I assume the post was interpreted as spam?

What'd you post? Coke or Pepsi?

Cuz, imo, Pepsi is a bannable offence.

A link to a story about Ahmedinejad receiving flak for "lewd and immoral behaviour". He had kissed his former schoolteacher on her hand.

I felt it wasn't big enough to merit it's own thread, so I inserted it in the already existing "US politicians vs. brothel madam" thread.

It was delete with the reason that you should make a new thread. By goat.

Okay. I missed any message that indicated what had happened.

that's cos the entry in the 'reason for deletion' box is, you know, invisible to non-mods...

yeah, way to go starting a new thread in an existing thread.

I would have imagined someone with your post count would have some concept of what normal forum behaviour is.

Err.. Prowl, did you read my post and the OP of the thread? They had a connection Imo, but it was deemed to be too superficial by a moderator to justify the post.

It isn't much to get a fuzz over given it's one or two mere posts gone and a minor disagreement or a minor fault on my part. I wanted to know if a post was zapped by the internet or the administration. And if the latter, why.

Come to think of it, why is the 'reason for deletion' box inaccessible to the 'criminal' party? Gives a bad feeling if no reason is given.

Because that's the way VBB is coded. Unfortunately one of those things that would require someone to recode to fix, and we haven't an available VBB coder atm :)

Yes I read the thread, read your deleted post and read goat's deletion comment.

you even mentioned in your post here that you felt it didn't justify it's own thread so you dumped it in this one.

I can't see any relevance between the deleted post and the current thread.
