On some sites, javascripts popups don't work. Is there a way to fix it in Opera?

Give us an example of a site that doesn't work for you, so we can check possible solutions.

Are you sure you: A) Have javascript installed B) Have pop-up blocking to only block UNWANTED pop-ups?

And I'm sure I have JS installed because it works in the other browsers, and thw pop-up settings is set to blocking only unwanted.

Here's a question about this I learned from personal experience.....are Opera and JRE installed on the same hard-drive?

Well, I didn't encounter any JS pop-ups on my browsing of that site. However, javascript did work on tab switching for product documentation.
EDIT: Put "opera:plugins" into your address bar. Check that to see if you have the "Java Plug-in" on the list.

Well, I only have one hard drive.

Er...wait. I keep confusing Java with JavaScript.
Hit F12 and make sure JavaScript is enabled. Disregard my posts about the Java plug-in.

Yup, it's enabled. The problem is that the pop-up will only work once before it disables it. I have to reload the page for it to work again.
But, anyway, it's no big deal. Thanks for the help.

You should try the new Opera 9 preview version. It's really nice.
Also, for anyone else using Opera. You should really check out an .ini sync program he made. It stores your preferences in your My.Opera space, and syncs them up when you want to (IE After an upgrade).
