How do I sort this problem out:
my step uncle is a pretty cool person. However he tends to be a bit wierd at times, especially when drunk. He freaks out a couple of my mates and they dont want to hang out with him. Im torn, because i know he isnt a bad person, he's just a bit odd. I dont want to go out and leave him behind on his own because thats just horrible, i wouldnt like it done to me. But he makes me look bad, and my mates get pissed off with him, and i fear they'll get pissed off with me in turn and then i lose out.
second issue - i have two groups of friends. they hang out as one big group occasionally, but the one group (consisting of people i work with) arent into the whole nightclub thing and party atmosphere as much as the other group. the other group, who are into that sort of thing, are also the first friends i made when i came back to england from south africa, and i cant abandon them when they ask me to go out to the city with them, but i cant abandon the other group because they are good friends of mine. im juggling it at the moment, alternatively spending time with one group and then the other. but its a mission to get the right balance. i dont mind the nightclub party atmosphere, but i also enjoy just chilling out with friends.
