So something happened since I last used photoshop, and I don't know how to fix it.

Here's your typical NO U Pic.

And here's what it looks like in photoshop. Look at my color palette too.

All my colors are washed out. I've tried everything I know, like changing the proof setup (whatever that is) and the color settings, and it remains washed out :/

Any ideas?

I've reinstalled a fresh copy, hasn't fixed it.

It looks like a color brightness/saturation issue to me. Don't know where to fix that since I can barely use the advanced features for Photoshop, but that's what it looks like to me.

Yeah, but everything I do involving color/pallete/etc. has no effect.

Mind you everything else on my computer is still displaying normally.

One other thing to remember about reinstalls is that sometimes they leave behind not only pieces of themselves, but also pieces of their registries. To fix this, after you uninstall (if you want, select the option for it to not leave anything behind, if there is one, for easier work), go and delete its folder in Program Files. After that, run a program that cleans registry keys (CCleaner works, I put a link to it in the sticky; careful with it though, it can delete your temp net files and Firefox cookies if you don't tell it not to), then try to reinstall.

Anyone please, I need some ideas.

I will be trying cleaning my registry of any traces soon, but I'd rather not have to go that far if there's just some hidden option that I don't know about that could fix it.
