Honestly though, you should go down to an actual store an have a listen to the speakers before you decide on something.

i have these, good stuff ... the sub connection blew awhile back but i have a 2 year warranty so w/e. get these because my opinion matters.

Look for what sounds good to you. Actual specs don't matter a whole lot. It's a pretty subjective process deciding what you want in a speaker and what speakers suit you best. Check out as many different brand and price bracket speakers as you can at your local electronics stores and then decide what you like best brandwise and pricewise. Either buy the speakers there, or go home and try to get the best price you can on them online.
