the way I do it , is go to the setting of my sound card ( audigy , but worked with Soundstorm too) and change the record option from "microphone" to "what you hear".

That means it records anything that would come out of the speakers. So you hit Rec. and play the swf .

the only recording option ive got is SB Wave device, which it was on already. for some reason my mic doesnt show up, but since it works im assuming thats my mic

because i'm too lazy to type it out.

Actual source names might be slightly different, but basically hitting 'record' on whatever sound program will make it record the output of whatever is selected in those tickboxes.

There are some limitations, but you should be able to get what you need.

Options dropdown -> Properties in windows volume control.

Or you could use Audacity and record from stereo mix (you can do this with the windows sound recorder but it limits you to only a minute of recording at a time).

What faktor said...change your recording device to "stereo mixer"

You'll probably need to adjust the volume in the recording section of your volume control, just do what wallrod said.

With windows sound recorder, you can open a file, save it, reopen it, and you'll have two minutes worth, and keep repeating.
