This just started today, but for some reason I cannot connect with my chrisrobinette@gm4il.com account on there, or chris_robinette87@h0tmail.com. I tried it on both MSN 7 and Trillian, also tried reinstalling Trillian, with no luck. The troubleshoot brings me to a diagnostic that checks if I'm online, but when I click repair, it tells me that it can't repair the problem. Any ideas?

I figured it out, never really ran into this before, but if the time and date on your computer are wrong, then it won't connect.

Like how wrong? I know someone who's been having this same problem (can connect with the crappy web messenger but not with the [equally crappy] 7.0/7.5).

Not sure how it got this way, but it was on Jan. 1st, 2004.

My lap top internal clock is basically gone. It stopped keeping time about 2 years ago.
