Actually he mentions my other site GamesLaw, but still. Jack mentions me, GamePolitics, Kotaku, Crecente (from Kotaku), the ECA, the ESA and Doug Lowenstein, Strauss Zelnick, etc.

Seriously, would it hurt to run a spell checker?

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Thompson has trouble getting people to set his computers up for him, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't got clue one himself.

Fight the good fight and keep on rockin' in the free world, Dan. Are you fully 'enjoying' your 1st Amd rights? I'm sure with a bit of effort you could get him so angry he couldn't type at all, even with errors :D

There should be an internet wide I hate Jack Thompson sig. All it would need to do is go to 4chan, etensity and FARK and it would be on every gaming forum in the universe in a few hours.

Frankly, I'm honored to share your name.

Also find it humorous he attaches his bar number to the bottom of the filing. Not being familiar with these things in the slightest, is he able to do that after being, you know, disbarred?

I didn't even know about Manhunt 2. Thanks for the tip, Jack :D

Some days you wish that Zelnick would just kick Thompson's ass using his rippling biceps (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/21/take-twos-zelnick-flexes-for-mens-fitness/)...

So this makes us cool by association, right?

Evil, soul-less, devil-worshipping, baby-killers, anyway. I guess that counts as cool.

so one of his main legal arguments is that one of the defendants is 'openly gay'?

wtf?

Openly gay therefore part of the gay agenda therefore part of the anti-Christian conspiracy determined to destroy the fabric of American society. Naturally, having him disbarred needed to happen, for who else could prevent our master plan to convert all the young Christians to Satanism through violent video games?

I only intend to piss him off through the truth. That's the best use of my first amendment rights. I'm not going to go out of my way and say things like "you're a hate spewer. I'm just going to keep reprinting his own words.

I don't think he was disbarred as of the filing of this motion. The disbarment date was to be effective after a certain time. But regardless, nothing prevents him from doing that; he could even say if he wanted "I am superman".
