From Slashdot:
CCP completed their investigation and posted an incredibly detailed account of how the exploit worked, what they did to fix it, how it affected the game's economy, and what happened to the players who abused it. Their report ranges from descriptions of the involved algorithms to graphs of the related economic markets to theatrically swooping through the game universe nuking the malfunctioning structures.

Quantity for ferrogel and fermionic condensates with number of bugged POSes online, the trend is quite clear.

tl;dr version:

6 to 12 Trillion isk created from exploit
2 unnamed corps were setup for laundering and RMT disbanded
134 huge offenders banned
200+ POSes Nuked by GM's
30 Tech II BPO Nuked
Caps and super caps seized and destroyed
earliest petition was from Oct 2005 was ignored
Think FBI raid on old Italian Gangsters screaming about RICO

Yeah that's a bit...harsh. Should've made a little event where concord auctions off "repossessed goods".

BPO's arent as shit hot of a deal anymore, with invention anyone can create BPC's. So it does hurt, but, not as bad.

they've been wanting to get rid of t2 bpos for a while.. and this is a great way to nuke a big batch.

Didn't think I'd say this, but I agree with Grux and Splitter.

T2 BPO's were getting less and less handy as people started doing more invention, and quite frankly I prefer having invention the basis of the market price of something instead of some guy running a t2 BPO 24/7.

Makes the game a little bit more interesting in my opinion.

T2 BPOs still make mad profit over invention.. The BPO holders had to research them once invention came out but now that they have... they make a lot more per ship than inventors.

they are still huge - but if prices go up too much more people will invent and thus prices will go back down.

Yeah, there's going to be some sort of balance and more people interested in invention, hopefully dropping ship prices down to a new standard.
