well since i'm clearly the only person in the entire world who has this problem...does anyone know of a good file browser I could use? And how could I bind my win+e to that instead of explorer?
*E* didn't think of trying to just revert back to the olde IE...i'll see if that works

IE = crap
and since windows integrates it into virtually everything, its easy to mess things up with it

You didn't have to do that. :rolleyes:
I know of a fix for it. That happens when an install goes bad. Horray for Microcroft Products.

You should consider upgrading to xp. It's just as stable as 2k and offers all the latest drivers/software. Including 6.0 :p

All I want is to be able to actually manage files again :|
*E* Fixed, didn't know there was a "repair" option to make the IE work :o

XP can have the exact same glitch. And it's Explorer hangs even more than 2k's.

Yeah apparently after clicking reboot at the end of the install some error was popping up about not being able to initialize something..."cannot initialize" was all I could read because the box disappeared so fast (gg reboot :rolleyes: ). Did a repair and it's all good not.
XP 4 teh lewse
