So i got this mail from shattered crystal, nothing much for most of us but new guys might like it.
CCP is making an exciting push for EVE Online to bring in some new blood. We have acquired Eve 30 Day Starter Pack codes. These codes are used to open an account that is already credited with it's first 30 days of game time. They can be found here: http://www.shatteredcrystal.com/index.php/eve_online . Now we know this is not a very exciting thing for those of you that are already playing. But. If you have been thinking about trying the game this is a great way to get the full feel of the game. It's also a good opportunity to get friends or family that have been thinking about trying EVE into the game and make a buck on it also.
To refer a friend and get credit for it all you need to do is use the affiliate link at the bottom of your last purchase receipt. If you send your friends or family that link and they use it to purchase a starter pack you will be credited. The link can be used in emails or on web pages. Sorry but the link will not work to credit yourself if you purchase through it. It will only credit you if your friends make a purchase.
Another great way to get friends or family into the game will be to give them a gift of the retail box that will be available next month in stores near you. With EVE getting shelf space in retails stores again it will cause us to see a lot of newbies in the game. Invite them into your corps and show them how to play. If you will be new to the game there are lots of people in EVE who love to help out new players.
With EVE hitting new record highs. Now is a great time to get into the game.
