I know I'm not the only Premier League fan in this place, so this can be the sort of main thread for discussion.
American Soccer fans, watch for an MLS MEGA THREAD OMG! by the end of the month.

I'm one of those guys that loves the sport, but I don't follow the leagues too closely. I do try and make to as many DC United games as possible though... and before I die, I will attend a world cup.

So, Chelsea seem to be the only chance of keeping the North at bay now....

Not really - nominally I'm an Albion fan, but I couldn't name a player since Bobby Zamora left. Now "we" are wallowing at the bottom of the noobs division it's best just to close my eyes, put my fingers in my ears and say "la la la" until the Falmer stadium brings in enough cash to buy someone - anyone - who actually knows how to score a goal.
My nephew's a fan of the Scousers so I pretend to hate them to wind him up. And naturally nobody wants to see Man U win, so this year I'm cheering on the Pensioners.

Spurs look to be good enough under Redknapp to avoid the drop so that's all I care about. Also, really hope that Aston Villa can hold onto that fourth spot, so sick of the gooners.

<3 Liverpool, I had only been able to keep up with them in the Champions league thus far and haven't seen how they're doing in the Premier league.

Grrrrrrrr...
Nah, but in all seriousness, fair play to Villa for nabbing fourth. They've had a cracking season and even as an Arsenal fan I'm glad to see someone outside of the big four getting stuck in. The premier league's been in a rut for too long

Was a good weekend all round really. United lost, Arsenal won, and Spurs beat Aston Villa so they dropped out of our nice warm fourth spot :D
Blackburn are a bunch of bastards though, that bloke should have been sent off for that 'tackle' on Almunia, could have snapped his ankle.

I feel like a Red Sox fan before the curse broke. It's so frustrating to watch the Gunners have posession for 65 - 70 percent of the game and not score a single goal. I love Cesc, but it's such a shame that the team falls apart without him.
Fair play to Villa though. They've had a great season.

Albion won 5-0 the other day. Still going down to League 2, but a bit more cheerful.

If pk! is casting the net outside the Premiership then so am I! I LOVE DUNDEE UNITED! There I've said it and we are having our best season in years. We are easily the most heartbreaking side to support ever. Also, Liverpool.

Fiver on Forfar to beat Fife five-four, or failing that, to finish first.
I've been waiting years to say that to a bookie.

No intention of disrespecting your favorite team, but every time you bring up Dundee Utd., all I can think of is this guy:

PS: Arsenal back in the fourth spot. :kak:

I am utterly appalled at the mocking of my religion! As pennance you must adopt them as your favourite Scottish team and buy copious amounts of DUFC merchandise. It's your only route to salvation.
-e- Start by praying for them tomorrow cos we got Celtic in the league. Our record against the Old firm this year is outstanding though.

Quite a good day all round. United couldn't hold out for the last ten minutes after playing Celtic off the park this afternoon to record another (slightly heartbreaking) draw against against the champions in a highly entertaining game (shoulda prayed harder for them RMR :(). And Liverpool gave Aston Villa a proper thrashing.

Sorry. :( I'll pray for Dundee for a year if you play for New England Revolution for the summer. Deal?

Sure New England is a bit thin of players but I doubt DumbGrunt will help them on the field

I got a mean left foot and play best in defence. Get me a Beckham style contract and I'm there.
-e- And that's Dundee UNITED (caps for emphasis). Dundee are the team from across the road...

Its okay, Steve Nicol can only make it to the MLS Cup, he can't win. He's the Marv Levy of MLS.
