HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
Dana must be pissed for the boring performance against Thales, so not only does he put Silva at 205... he puts him up against Forrest.
Say what you want about Forrest, he's a fucking Fighter. He's not going to flop to his back like Thales. He's not going to hesitate in the standup and let Anderson pick him apart. Forrest isn't the best fighter in the world, but I think his style matches up well with Silva. He's a HUGE 205er, and Anderson is a small one. Anderson won't be able to use the clinch because forrest is so much bigger, he'll probably be able to take him down. Forrest has a better chin than people give him credit for. He took some solid shots from Rampage and kept coming. Silva can knock him out, but it wont be easy.
I thought this could happen because I read an interview with Dana White where he said, "I'm still trying to bring people into the sport. If Silva vs Leites was the first fight you ever saw, would you buy a $40 PPV to see another? Of course not. You know what the most important fight in UFC history was? Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar. Why? Because for a lot of people it was the first fight they ever saw, and they were instantly hooked for life. Silva can learn something from Forrest when it comes to building a fan base."
