HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

Dana must be pissed for the boring performance against Thales, so not only does he put Silva at 205... he puts him up against Forrest.

Say what you want about Forrest, he's a fucking Fighter. He's not going to flop to his back like Thales. He's not going to hesitate in the standup and let Anderson pick him apart. Forrest isn't the best fighter in the world, but I think his style matches up well with Silva. He's a HUGE 205er, and Anderson is a small one. Anderson won't be able to use the clinch because forrest is so much bigger, he'll probably be able to take him down. Forrest has a better chin than people give him credit for. He took some solid shots from Rampage and kept coming. Silva can knock him out, but it wont be easy.

I thought this could happen because I read an interview with Dana White where he said, "I'm still trying to bring people into the sport. If Silva vs Leites was the first fight you ever saw, would you buy a $40 PPV to see another? Of course not. You know what the most important fight in UFC history was? Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar. Why? Because for a lot of people it was the first fight they ever saw, and they were instantly hooked for life. Silva can learn something from Forrest when it comes to building a fan base."

Thats true after chuck and randy, forrest sells most number of pay per views. When i see forrest, to me he appears a guy who is second to a lot of fighter when it comes to talent. But very few fighter can come close to him when it comes to hard work and determination. That what makes him an awesome fighter, he just keeps coming at ya.

Forrest was well on his way to win that fight against rashard before the ground and pound . Also a majority of people still believe that he won the fight against tito ortiz and the way he made shogun his bitch is just friggin classic.

Btw what do you think bout rashard evans ?

Rashad's got skills, but I'm pretty sure Lyoto is going to embarass him like he does to everyone else.

Forrest said it himself, "I know what Rashad's gonna do. He's gonna hit ya, hard. If that doesn't work, he's gonna wrastle ya. Machida... he's gonna ninja you and make you look bad... then when you get frustrated he's gonna throw you on your head."

hehehe Krzysztof is also canadian, can i cheer for him too.

I cant wait for machida vs rashard. I have a feeling that machida is gonna make him run around and the tko a gassed out rashard in late round 4. Also rashard almost lost to tito, Infact the fight was a tie because tito had one point take off for holding on to the cage. So it will please me a lot when machida makes him look silly.

From the very few Ultimate Fighter shows I've seen Forrest and Krzysztof seem like some of the very few level headed MMA'ers out there. I guess it makes sense because to be honest you have to be a little fucked up in the head to be involved in a sport like that. Still, it gets on my nerves seeing a lot of the diva shit that goes on with fighters. Yes you have to be cocky and sell a fight beforehand but damn some people take it to far. So big ups to those guys and fighters like them.

Actually most of them are very level headed e.g fedor, rich franklin, randy coture, dan henderson, most of the brazillions/japanese and bunch of others I can name.

The problem is that the quickest way to rise in MMA is to get your name out there and the fastest way to get your name out there is by being a dick wad.

UFC and other big organizations (well 'big' is subjective) like to sign/promote fighters who can fill seats up, now either u got to have gentlemen/ heart of a lion fighter like forrest or you get guys who can trash talk and shit. So eventhough most people dont like the trash talkers and bozos, theyll still come to watch them fight (or order pvp) just so they can see these bozos get their ass handed to them.
