So who else just watched this? Probably the best card I've seen in a long, long, long time, incredible fights from start to finish. Can't believe I'd ever see brock winning with a choke in the second round on this one and I thought he was in serious trouble after he got dropped.

Incredible fight.

Going into this fight I was a gigantic Brock-hater, thought he was an overrated, gifted but skill-less punk. Going out, I still don't like the guy, but I have to respect any man that took as many of Carwin's punches as he did, still defended himself and then had the smarts to simply take down a gassed opponent and work him into a submission.

And I swear to god if I have to hear anymore idiots crying about how the fight wasn't stopped >:/>:/

I was really under impressed.

Brock did what brock always does, uses is fucking ape like size to just wrestle him down. He has shit for stand up game, Carwin was a fucking limp noodle on the ground. He had no defense at all against Lesnar.

Carwin should have been smarter with his punches once he had him on the defense, and NOT have went on the ground with Lesnar. He was owning the stand up fight, should have kept it there.

Ya, Carwin should have let him stand up rather than punch himself out.

How about Stephan fucking Bonnar?

Well, it also helps that the man is or, at the very least, was a damn good wrestler.

So was Carwin... They were both NCAA champions.

I was really under impressed.

It might look like Brock just uses brute force, but Carwin is just about as big as Lesnar, and he was a fantastic collegiate wrestler. Lesnar really is that good.

I think Lesnars plan early on was to use his size and gas tank and use the couture strategy of push him against the cage, control his posture and force him to expand energy carrying his frame, he tried this for a while, but eventually he got caught and dropped.

What impressed me most was his heart, it's one thing great fighters have to show and he showed it in abundance. He wasn't technically amazing in any area but he's technically good enough to use his size and athleticism. I can't fault him for that.

good fights, was impressed by chris leben vs sexyama, he took some shots and looked like a zombie but kept going and stayed smart, getting a well deserved sub

I watched the fight in Gunnison, CO, where Carwin went to college; everyone was really unhappy that he lost.
