Jolt Summer Cup - Playoffs

The following teams are through to the playoffs:

[Group 1:]
xP 12 : 0
ghosts. 8 : 4
SpAm 8 : 7


[Group 2:]
RsT 12 : 0
RMA 9 : 3
NTK 6 : 6

The two teams that placed 1st in their groups, automaticly goes through to the semi finals.

2nd and 3rd place finishers, will face each others in a playoff match, for the right to play either xP or RsT in the semi finals.
2nd place in group one will face number 3 in group 2, and vise versa. Playoff matches will be:

Match a: ghosts vs NtK

Match b: Spam vs RMA

Map will be sd_durandal


To make this as random as possible, we have decided a rahter different way of deciding who will face xP and RsT in the semi finals, once these two matches have been played.

A random map will be selected. 6 players will be chosen. Each of them will be given a letter as their in-game name. From a to f. A 7th player will select Atillery II, and set up a mortar flag. The 6 selected players will gather around the flag, and a shell will be fired.

First round off, will decide the enemy for xP. From the kill-list, we will see if either a or b dies first. Ghosts vs NtK was match a, and there for the letter a. b represents match b between Spam vs RMA.
The remaining 4 letters are ignored.

Semi Finals will be played on ps_marie.

From now on, matches cannot be played without an admin present. As soon as clans have found a date and time to play, you must contact a JSC admin. The latest is 24 hours before the match. If you fail to do so, and you play the match without an admin present, the match will have to be replayed.

well i havnt tried to use it since fal decided they would try octinium. but it didnt work then i doubt it will now. i probably screwed it up somehow though, so if i even play in the match.. which i probably wont since all matches are during when i work :/

the term ermine orginates from finnish counter-strike scene where it means a player who can't get a single frag for whole 12 rounds which are played in a map (0/12)

I'd like to add that ermine is/was SWEDISH cs player and also that term ermine used to be known as heaton. I bet most ppl that have ever heard of cpl have heard of him and he has also played 0/12 in some match.

I still dont get how anyone could possibly go 0 - 17 in a match. I mean ive played against some less skilled people but they pick up kills when you have low hp ect.
