I have no idea if the old forums are even still able to be reached or w.e happened with em but I have lost my old sig and avatar and have no bloody idea where the pics were linked to. Does anyone know of a way I can get them back?

for one, the entire fa team/ community told us that the forums would go down anytime soon, and what happen? they did, people should have backed up all that stuff when they heard about it, instead of waiting for someone to give an exact date for the shutdown, cause sometimes in real life that happens. sorry you lost your sig, but maybe if you get lucky someone will find it for you i dunno, sorry to hear you lost it though

For the record, there were no concrete plans on the team's part to shut down the FA site/forums when we were forced to move over here. This means the move was probably at least 2 weeks away and probably closer to a month or 2 away, since it was established that advanced notice was going to be given.

but you're still saying there was a warning that the site and forums were going to go down. i infact remember that warning, and even though it was just a warning, it should have been enough for people to back up their sigs and avatars

Yes, there was warning, but it was also a reasonable assumption that there would be further warning saying things like "ok, we're moving in a week, get your shit together." Also, I'd have to doublecheck this but I'm pretty sure there were no plans to take down the firearms site at all, just the forums.

Aye, I was never totally clear on the finer points of The Plan™ however, I thought the idea was that the FA site was going to just stay up as long as ReconGamer would let it with minimal updating.
